I love Buck, but typing in demos is cool.

And courageous.

It's rare that I get to reflect back on my entire tech career and my philosophy towards work and life, but this interview captures it perfectly. One of the few recordings of myself I've watched end to end. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdUb...

Finally, a network tab in the gui. What took them so long?

Podman has closed the gap on docker for me on wsl2, still some quirks with azure container pull secrets in podman and in kind clusters but not worth using docker for.

Best thing I have read in a while.

Why your idea of a platform team might be managed infrastructure team playing dress up.

Also I will steal this burger analogy for future use.

Sure, focus on the things that add value for you. Definitly try out Gemini Code Assist in vscode. Try out some scenario and let me know how it compares to what you used before and your expectations.

Running in a container and hooking up the api calls from for example vscode. Depends on your gpu and ram a bit. Can also run on a local cluster instead of your pc.

I use the vscode extension for Gemini. Does pretty good chat in the sidebar with context and good auto complete in the editor.

I use gemini because it came free with my gsuite / google workspace. I have used a lot of them and I think gemini was the best experience but they all continuously get better so I am not sure that gives you any input. Have you thought about self hosting?

Oh my god, Copilot is allowed to create and fix issues on Microsoft github repos and it goes exactly as you'd have imagined.

Try going into any of these PRs commits to see poor Microsoft engineers try to coerce Copilot into doing literally anything right.
