Overnight Congress approved the big beautiful bill cutting Medicaid, which insures nearly 1/2 of all kids.
You may think this won’t affect you but it will.

#Telehealth allows me to see patients on THEIR schedule. I've had consults from patient couches, home offices, from the alleyway outside their retail jobs, & from their cars during lunch break. I am for any tool which enables you to live on your time (not mine). #ASCOAdvocacy

#NIH just slashed indirect costs caps on grants to 15%--this is a HUGE blow to the research community. While there is certainly inefficiency to the grants system, indirects help institutions support scientists & academic infrastructure. No one will want to do research anymore. #medsky #academicsky
