Those Democrats living in red states have a much harder battle politically. It’s easier to live in a blue bubble. The real battle and courage is progressives living in red states. #redstate
if you are ever tempted to write off the residents of a "red" (i.e., gerrymandered) state and say "set them adrift, let them secede, they deserve what they voted for", you are missing all the thousands of stories like this where the human beings in those states are pushing back every single day
There are still good, kind, decent people in the world
