Just spotted in the #civ7 1.0.1 patch 3 release notes, they've included a UI improvement added in a mod last weekend by Sukritact! Love this level of community engagement! forums.civfanatics.com/resources/su...

Fellow NSA - National Security Agency veterans. Look at what’s happened at the National Cryptologic Museum. They covered up with brown paper the photos of Women in American Cryptology. All in response to President Trump’s anti-diversity executive order.

Ok, time to try Civilization II! Ok, do I have 16 MB RAM? (Yes I have 64 GB of RAM 😆)

So, given it's about 6 days to Civilization VII, I've decided to go back and work my way through the original games, starting with the first one I ever played, Civilization I. I remember my mother coming back from the US with a bunch of "Educational" games, and this one stuck!

Microsoft copilot is so bad. Can’t believe they still haven’t fixed this. It’s so certain it’s right as well!

Looking forward to seeing if their new “think deeper” option can work it out!

I’m now getting these kind of bots on a daily basis. Interestingly, this one was actually suspended almost as soon as I screenshotted it?

I’m wondering if there are some controls over the number of accounts you can follow in a certain time period would help identify these and get rid of them

Now Grok is free, I’ve been wondering if I could ask it how to make the perfect cup of tea and take down X?

Using Github Copilot to help me with #AdventofCode, it's basically like having a moderately experienced pair programmer. It works surprisingly well! It's particularly interesting when it starts predicting what you want to do next. Sometimes with terrifying accuracy!

I recently remembered that as a child I used to have advent calendars without chocolate. Nothing but a picture of a religious scene. Can’t believe what used to pass as ok in the 80s/90s!
(And no I’m not too old for advent calendars, mine has marzipan in this year!)

Really interesting post from Cloudflare on internet traffic over the weekend. Particularly that there was a "software update" on the 1st December that seemed to have a massive impact on global internet traffic! 🤔
