never learned street names or places. only spatial relationships and mario 64. never learned units of time either. if mom said we had to leave in an hour I knew I could watch Bulbasaur's Mysterious Garden on VHS approximately 3 times. I was grown in a lab like Mewtwo, they made me this way.

I knew from day 1 that deoxys was the biggest badass because when pokemon brought it to the card game the set was just called "Deoxys". no Resplendent Reckoning, no Turbotastic Triumph or anything like that- this is just Deoxys and it speaks for itself. I was 7 years old and had seen the face of god

I will always be obsessed with the fashion out of the gamecube era of pokemon.. the outfits of every day trainers feels so bold and adventurous. there's a very present y2k and sometimes punk feel giving it all this life, and the way they play with color is the cherry on top. it's really cool that zeraora is getting some time in the za dlc because this whole game release feels like pokemon tying up some of their larger loose ends. Zygarde has always been my most desired "untold story" but the 3ds era mythicals are perfect to be lumped in alongside it
