The Epstein case is important, not least because it implicates 47, but don't forget that a huge % of cases of violence against women involve police inaction, court inaction, untested rape kits, unenforced restraining orders, disbelieved victims & witnesses, & perps generally getting away with it.
As ppl look for transparency & accountability we’ve put together a comprehensive timeline of the failure of federal law enforcement to address Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell's crimes @justsecurity.org

It’s a “tale of national disgrace” spanning 3 decades

First weekend getaway with our family of three has been full of small delights, slow going, and many naps. Much needed after the rest of 2025 😅 It’s not always peaceful to travel with a toddler, but it does bring me peace to escape the other noise and focus on my real priorities #stjosephs

If you need a reason to resist and refuse the entrenchment of AI technologies in schools and demand a different vision of education, here's one: "The Trump administration is willing to put resources behind AI education and AI literacy, while it strips funds for actual public education."
Trump's AI Action Plan is even worse than I thought it'd be. It's a tech industry wishlist with every box ticked. It signals the further coherence of Silicon Valley and the Trump-led federal government into a cooperative, automation-bent surveillance state. It's a blueprint for dystopia.
Trump's AI Action Plan is a blueprint for dystopia
The president is trying to give Silicon Valley nearly everything it wants — at a price.

Quit freaking out. Remember that in 10,000 B.C., when America had ZERO international trade, a family could afford a house like this on a single income.

Federal workers choose public service to serve our people, but the Trump administration wants to traumatize them.

We need cancer researchers, forest service firefighters, nuclear safety experts, VA nurses and food safety inspectors.

We don’t need Elon Musk, whatever his job is.

There’s no need for a new law and you’re never going to get it passed in the minority anyway.

Just demand that the authorities apply the current laws to stop the actions that are already illegal
Schumer: "Today Leader Jeffries and I are joining together to push legislation to prevent unlawful meddling in the Treasury Department's payment systems and protect Americans across the country ... we call our legislation, 'stop the steal'"

Musk and his team have hostilely taken over OPM. Tonight’s email to fed employees mirrors the “Fork in the Road” message sent to Twitter (now X) staff after Musk’s 2022 takeover. He is working with the Trump administration to build profiles on federal workers based on loyalty (political standing).

Hi that was a coup last night in case no one mentioned that to you. The executive branch seized the power of the purse the Constitution gave to Congress, which is a pretty authoritarian / illegal consolidation of powers move. Time to go yell at your reps, the media, etc.

Today, my colleagues and I gave him a list of things he could do right now to start to lower the prices of eggs.

Welp. There's EVERYTHING I NEVER TOLD YOU and LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE, marked as "remove from all libraries" as of October. 🙃
Clay updated their review database with the decisions for the nearly 50 objections filed last month.

Every single one of them was either restricted or removed.

These decisions were made without reading the books and without a public review committee.
