One of the most miserable things about living in this era is having to watch the stupidest & most arrogant people in the world have to relearn The Why of literally everything good that we collectively do the hard way.

The answer is always ‘Because a bunch of people died, fuckwit.’

This right here. INSANE! Benito, mil y mil gracias. Eres un artista sin igual.
It was transforming the biggest NFL stage in the world into a sugar cane plantation that did it for me.

Like, the multiple layers of turning an American icon into a plantation and highlighting the history of exploitation of Black and Brown bodies by the NFL and American colonialism simultaneously?

@louiseseamster.bsky.social connecting the dots on tRumps bullshit tensions between the fed cutting interest rates and a possible recession. Turns out, because it's happened before, it'll make him and his oligarchs even richer.
ok there are infinite implications of this, I just want to comment on one.
there have been many articles out in the last year like "fed rates are cut, but don't expect mortgage rates to go down soon or basically ever" (aka banks can borrow cheaper but still charge consumers more for credit)
