We see several dimensions of the knowledge politics of violence at play here. For one, the public display of killing journalists, as @argohdes.bsky.social has mentioned, for everyone to see. At the same time, on the ground reporting on atrocities is made virtually impossible 1/

So pleased to see this letter from MPs in support of students in Gaza with offers at UK universities. It's been signed by over 100 MPs and is a real cross-party effort. I hope now that Starmer will respond to our requests.
Students who win the chance to attend our world class universities need that future protected whereever they come from - proud to stand with my colleagues lead by Abtisam Mohamed in speaking up for how we can make that happen even amid the horrors of what is happening in Gaza.
