Sometimes during COP, we forget there is a real world out there. News from Groningen about a 3.4 magnitude earthquake. It's where Exxon and Shell extracted gas irresponsibly for decades and have now filed a case against the Dutch government for closing the gas field

The federal government only wanted to help South Australia with the algal bloom if it did not require new funding despite being briefed that an estimated 250k marine animals had been killed, new documents obtained through FOI reveal.

This is for Trump.
A recent study reveals that energy costs in Britain has been reduced by 104 billon pounds the last 15 years because of wind power.
The Biden administration knew this and introduced the IRA which Trump rolled back to make Americans pay more.

Important context: this was for native ads only, does not include spend for events, or traditional ad placements (e.g. the ubiquitous oil ads in The Daily).
when we did the most *conservative* accounting of this (using advertising data, because of course they're also not transparent about it), the NYT alone had taken in $20 million from oil and gas companies in just THREE years. it's absolutely wild drilled.media/news/drilled...
