Love working in a service where leadership supports evidence based intensity and duration of intervention for severe SSD. 3 sessions per week with breaks based on clinical decision making not arbitrary service delivery models 🙌🏻

This is an excellent resource for schools and I’m proud to have supported it with the NAPA and NIPA at the heart of Pre-Phonics Boost
Understanding phonics is key when learning to read. 📖
Pre-phonics Boost helps children recognise and use sounds in spoken language before learning phonics, making phonics easier for everyone.

Paracetamol (Tylenol) is one of the most effective and safe painkillers ever discovered. Keep within the recommended dose. Take it in pregnancy if you need to. It has been shown in MANY studies not to cause autism. 🧪
Had toothache today. Took paracetamol. Pain disappeared. I did not become autistic.

#DLDday is coming, so I’m starting a thread over a few days.

DLD (Developmental Language Disorder) is all about spoken language. Words and sentences are tricky for people with DLD. And people don’t grow out of it.
