And not enough is made of how he treated his neighbours, cutting their water off, building hoardings so they lost their views. intimidate them to sell up.
But his lies and disregard for anything of value in planning go back to the Bonwit Teller building.

I wonder what Trump would make of Radio 4's The Naked Week? It satirised the news of his legal theeat by editing together clips to make him say awful things, to huge studio applause.
To knit together two stories: through intimidation, litigation & extortion, Trump is clearly trying to create a media ecosystem where nobody asks him about Epstein - or indeed anything discomfiting. It is appalling to see so many UK media individuals & institutions aiding & abetting his corruption.

Leading medical publication the British Medical Journal recognises SUVs as a danger to public health in a new editorial co-authored by T&E’s James Nix: bit.ly/4hVDlBC

Large SUVs are a danger to pedestrians, cyclists & other drivers.

It's time to take action to reduce their presence in urban areas.

My favourite bit from this morning's @mrjamesob.bsky.social show..
I had to clip it out because it demonstrates so simply why Starmer can't cut it even for those who were Labour fans a year ago.

bsky.app/profile/drew...
Here's an example of one Labour voter explaining from the heart why Starmer isn't cutting it.
I wonder if it might be this simple?

Authenticity, openness and having a solid personal position that ISN'T determined for you by a comms team is the way forward.

It makes it way easier to face scrutiny🔊

X is the worst I have seen it.

Out & out racism all over it..

with calls for "N......s", "descendents of immigrants" and "anyone who isn't proper white" to be deported/"remigrated" because of the actions of 2 people with a certain skin colour.

And of course Musk welcomes and promotes those posts.

Shame. Henry started off well at 7, but within minutes we were hearing from Sophie it was "unbelievable" the Secretary of State for Justice hadn't resigned WHILE police were STILL trying to track down a wrongly released prisoner. Had he done so, she'd naturally have called him a coward for doing so!
@lbc.co.uk has sunk to a new low with Henry Riley having Sophie Corcoran on his show as a “political commentator”. Do you muppets have any idea of not who she is, but what she is? Let me help you she’s a Blue ticker, click farming for £££ on X, and a complete racist Twunt. Shame on @lbc.co.uk 😡😡😡

Don't mean to single out Nick Ferrari specifically but this sums up the problem with our mainstream media at the moment. Rather than simply reporting the facts about what's happened the most important thing to them is that whatever they say presents their own political viewpoint in the best light.

The worst offenders - those who are keen to defend and preserve their ability to use the phone while driving - are investing in tinted windows, which makes it even worse when you're trying to cross a road and can't tell if they're looking up or at their phone.

Eye contact makes such a difference.
Yet again an example of 2 out of 3 drivers using their mobile phone whilst driving.

Remember, these are only the ones that we catch. Imagine how prevalent the actual use of mobile phones is.

We only need to catch them twice in 3 years to get a ban but even being caught once is very expensive.

eBay established a trust tracking system 20 years ago, it's weird that Lime can't. I want dockless bikes to succeed, Lime makes a lot of profit and this isn't rocket science. I'd even give a more detailed description of what was wrong if they'd let me.

A chat with a fellow "person who has never used Lycra or been in an organised ride, but who generally goes to the shops and school run and to transport hubs on a bicycle" has just reminded me of some of the wording used by people @ealinglibdems.bsky.social were listening to re Safer Neighbourhoods..

This happens a lot and I don't get why.
As a signed up user, what are the chances you'd be reporting it for larks rather than because of genuine problem?
So why do they not immediately make it unavailable?
