Hello to all ex X! Nice to see you here.
If you're over at "the other place" you'll have encountered a west London photographer who..
following his 'success' in convincing nationalists that all Whitechapel Tube signage is in Bengali..
is now claiming London is empty at nights (due to a back street cab route)

but then this was him in 2020:

On the plus side, safer for those inside tho, right? :/

Here's an example of one Labour voter explaining from the heart why Starmer isn't cutting it.
I wonder if it might be this simple?

Authenticity, openness and having a solid personal position that ISN'T determined for you by a comms team is the way forward.

It makes it way easier to face scrutiny🔊

Spectacular show opening monologue from Nick Ferrari on LBC which manages to avoid mentioning Plaid Cymru altogether.
Let alone congratulating Lindsay Whittle on an historic win.

A chat with a fellow "person who has never used Lycra or been in an organised ride, but who generally goes to the shops and school run and to transport hubs on a bicycle" has just reminded me of some of the wording used by people @ealinglibdems.bsky.social were listening to re Safer Neighbourhoods..

Can you honestly believe how far down the drain these tabloid culture wars have taken Britain?

Kelvin MacKenzie, a man who has done his share of sowing division in the UK, is being invited to share this ghastly view that being a Muslim in the NHS somehow makes you a sinister presence:

MP Claire Coutinho, whose last boss was Rishi Sunak.
Both of them children of immigrants.

Now her boss is a person of colour who grew up in Nigeria.

But instead of highlighting that all three are proof of the SUCCESS of integration she is talking about a need for token white faces for validation?!

LBC clipped the excellent @mrjamesob.bsky.social call with Jack, from Handsworth, on Jenrick's comments..

but trimmed out BEFORE the key take-away that was offered.

So.. I've put it together in a more complete, powerful form: 🔊

While the UK and much of its media focuses on Farage & others claiming illegal migrants are an existential threat to us all..
Tech Bros have been priming remote-controlled & autonomous robots that can run + grip an object.

Police can barely tackle illegal e-scooters.
What happens when these appear?

It appears @mrjamesob.bsky.social missed the nuance of what Farage appeared to be saying in that unedited clip from Nick Ferragy's love-in this morning.

Nigel seemed to be suggested that the 'extremists calling for Sharia Law in the UK' are, in fact..

CABBIES!

Highlight of the day #3:
Finally we can feel proud to be British again.
Proud of our culture.
Showing the rest of the world that we've not forgotten who we are:

Highlight of the day #2:
This moment of traditional British culture which we've "got back"

Highlight of the day #1:

"I just want to know if these immigrants are untrustworthy or violent criminals using fake identities!"

asks woman at rally organised by Brit man using made-up name with criminal record that includes fraud, ABH, assault + who used someone else's passport to enter a country

I'm not sure they've thought this through.

The Mirror is reporting the racist attack in Halifax like they're appalled.

But when a man on a National Express from Bristol to London was bullied off it by racists for "looking shifty", they used an image of a flower seller in a Rajasthan market, captioned "Victim:" so you'd think "I can see why"

They are so desperate for Reform (freedom for them and a hobbled BBC)

Take these 3 examples:

1) "he has gone much further than the Tories would have done"
^comparing an IDEA with what a previous gov DIDN'T do

2) "can expect to see" = COULD. Highly conditional

3) "will be detained" = WOULD. Ditto

Are the people wanting to "build Jerusalem in England's green and pleasant land" the same ones complaining about how England is becoming like a foreign country?
August 31, 2025 at 12:14 PM
I'm not quite sure how else to describe it.
August 27, 2025 at 4:16 PM
It didn't stop news outlets talking about what he "will" do.. and what we "can" expect to see rather than "would"/"could" - as if it's a foregone conclusion he will be our next leader.

They even compared his expression of an idea as something that "has gone much further" rather than "would go".
