Rockets playing tough out there in Game 2! Loving the defensive intensity from players like Jalen Green and Alperen Şengün who were excoriated early in their careers for not being great on that end of the floor. Great work from Brooks, Eason, Amen, Adams, and Fred in making life difficult for GS!

Fox could be a huge upgrade for the Rockets, but I’m not sure about Houston making the deal. I love the plucky, young, tenacious group we’ve already got. I’ll probably get behind him pretty quickly if a trade happens, but I’m not yet sold.

It’s so wild to root for these Rockets… They were so bad for three years, then frisky last season. But now they’re suddenly really good and my expectations haven’t caught up! My brain is still thinking, “I sure hope we make the playoffs…” when this team deserves so much more respect.

My mom gave me this map several years ago, and I’ve hung it in my office / classroom ever since. It serves as a reminder to me and my students that there are many ways to look at the world and that just because you’ve always seen something one way doesn’t mean that’s the only correct way to see it.

The Rockets have been great this season against the dregs of the league and some decent / good teams, but tonight they face a stronger challenge against OKC. The Thunder are a tough team with a bevy of talented players, defensive prowess, and a high-octane offense. Should be a fantastic game!

Disappointing end to an unexpectedly fun season for the Aggies. Excited about the 12 team playoff keeping hope alive deep into the college football season for more fanbases. Now to figure out which teams to root for in the remaining games…
