I think, like so many others, I want to use this space to speak back to those spreading shame, fear, guilt, and false information about already emotional and confusing things. So that’s my series here if we do that, I’m going to respond to claims that I’ve heard and back it up with science and truth
In order to achieve that goal: here are my credentials! I’m a licensed clinical psychologist, specialties in children, teens and young adults. I also specialize in anxiety disorders and pediatric (medically complex). I’m taught college classes on ethics, worked at 3 hospitals, owned my own practice.
