It amazes me, being part of a generation that grew up on hair metal, new wave and other genres of music that were "gender bending" that so many of my fellow gen-x/xennials turned out to be so phobic.

I finally realize why i was so annoyed and pissed about that stupid "They/them" commercial during the election. Sure it was offensive to my trans brothers and sisters but as someone who has finally come to terms with and loves the fact I am non-binary it was SUPER offensive to me individually.
