And now they just have this messed up idea that trans means still somehow male and they fear being tricked and that it might make them gay or something (it doesn't)

I honestly think a lot of it is fear that they may find that attractive. When I was a kid I had a crush on boy George based on one picture and didn't know they were a he. It didn't matter when I got older but I really think that some were repressing themselves.

We did! A friend hosts a special charity event to collect food and toys for local charities so went there with some stuff to donate.
