Sayonara, 2025. You sucked. 2026 is likely to suck as well, so cheers, everybody! However it will also be the 30th anniversary of "Twister," and hopefully like in 2025 I will be able to capture the formation of some suck zones. Ideally on more than one day, this time.

Five years ago OTD, I caught some vintage "wigwag"-type railroad crossing signals in service (outside of a museum) for the last time. This pair on Saemann Avenue in Sheboygan, WI were the last in Wisconsin (and probably the Midwest) and were retired 6 days later.
