After much thinking I decided I do not feel comfortable participating in gamejams that allow genAI to be used.
At this point of time genAI is very unregulated with tons of stolen work from artists of all kinds, there’s no excusing its use, and makes me anxious to have my work associated near it.

I want to make shorter games, but if I do so players expect them to be free, and even if little, I’d like to make an earning of my games, which means I have to make them longer so I can charge at least for them 🙃

I put a lot of work and passion in my work, it f sucks to get a “I like your games! Hey can you give me (insert something they want)” I feel used and that you said that just to get something in return.
