Looks like I’ll be writing one of these weekly. Unless this guy stops his onslaught against the disabled. BTW - they toned down my headline for publication but ran it online (“Trumps remarks an affront on American values”).

I made it through my first proper day back on campus in over a year. Thankfully therapy and proper coping skills have helped immensely. I’m working on keeping myself whilst still playing their game. #survivein2025 #survivein25

Microaccommodations is such an amazing, simple, and economically viable action to take. I use them in my own life and highly recommend them for consideration by not just autistic folks but really everyone.

Just signed up for neuro-affirming parenting training out of Ireland. After Feb, I’ll be able to offer it up in the states to those who are interested. It is great stuff. Stay tuned for more.

This is why I do what I do and give the grace to adults that I sometimes can muster the strength to give.

Just got back from Florida. It was great to share my ideas and theories with the business world. They seemed very receptive to the human-centered and neuro-affirming theories I presented. Strange times make strange bedfellows, methinks.

Instead of thinking “My god, EVERYone has autism today” we should really be saying “My god we ABANDONED so many people in need.”

We MUST do better. Check out humanities101.org if you want to help.

I’ll be in Tampa Florida providing a Keynote next week. Anything worth seeing or doing whilst I’m there?

Follow Pete and read his book.
I believe most people would have a picture of a person (probably a child; probably male) in meltdown, or stimming to calm, or holding hands over their ears.

Rather than, say, a contented autistic person deep in hyperfocus having a great time.

This tells us a lot about society in general, I think.

Australia’s banning kids under 16 from social media, aiming to fight cyberbullying and protect mental health. But critics say it cuts off vital support for autistic and LGBTQ+ teens who rely on online spaces for connection. Is this a smart solution or overreach? apnews.com/article/soci...

BU's research in CTE is always a reality check gut punch. Oof, this is unreal.
Canadians (and others) take note: Boston University has just released a study finding that every year of participation in hockey increases the chances of contracting CTE by 34%.

Self-regulation is vital for focus & well-being.

Microaccommodations—like a quiet moment or a coffee break—make a big difference. Small changes create space to recharge, boosting inclusion & productivity. Support others by normalizing these moments of calm.
