Resist this everywhere it’s happening. We cannot have a network of concentration camps built in our country (again).
The banality of evil is shocking. An ex-Big Lots warehouse for cheap consumer junk is bought by ICE to ship as many as 7,500 handcuffed human beings, as the Trump regime builds a U.S. gulag archipelago

The unthinkable comes to Pa. coal country. My special report www.inquirer.com/opinion/ice-...
From Big Lots to warehousing humans: ICE plan sparks fear in Schuylkill County | Will Bunch
A massive warehouse in Tremont. Pa. that once moved cheap goods will now detain migrants in an $119 million ICE deal.

We’re looking at another very big Dem overperformance tonight—in a Trump+13 district. Dem Chasity Martinez is up 61-39 with more than half the vote in. Notably, like in TX last weekend, the e-day vote has been even *better* for her than the early vote. voterportal.sos.la.gov/graphical

Reminder: Cruz only won the TX senate seat *as an incumbent* in an election where Trump won nationally, by less than 9 points. Given the ~30 point swing we saw last night, or even the > 10 point swing we've seen over the last year, R's holding the TX senate seat is not a foregone conclusion.

Thought we should check in on the total list of legislative flips during Trump 2.0. The tally so far (including tonight):

Democrats: 26 flips

Republicans: 0 flips

JUST IN: Democrats flip a red seat in the Texas Senate.

Taylor Rehmet wins against Leigh Wambsganss, a conservative activist who helped lead right-wing efforts to take over TX school boards.

With all early vote, and 95% of precincts, in, Dem up 57/43.

Trump won this seat by 17% in Tarrant County.

This first batch of about 2,700 e-day votes went 60-40 D, meaning they were *bluer* than the early vote, which was 56-44 D. If this holds, it's lights out for the GOP.

Too many reflexively go to our partisan corners on every issue, but what’s happening to @Donlemonbsky is not about politics — it’s about OUR CONSTITUTION.

If we let him get away with this, no one is safe.

Are you F-ing KIDDING ME?! @Donlemonbsky has been arrested by the DOJ?! Exercising your first amendment constitutionally “protected” right gets you locked up, exercising your 2nd gets you killed, and actual murder… well in uniform, gets you nothing!

This IS NOT NORMAL nor OK!

If this is allowed -- and clearly, there's no one to stop it -- what's to stop him from suing the army for a trillion dollars and all of their bases or the treasury for all the gold? If the legal counsel can/will just agree to settle or be fired, where does it end?
Breaking Bloomberg:

Trump just sued the IRS and Treasury Department for $10 billion over the unauthorized disclosure of his tax returns to the press during his first term in office — potentially putting American taxpayers on the hook for a massive payout. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

LOL. Despite this being a Harris+71 seat, Democrat Meg Luger-Nikolai won tonight by a *91-point* margin. Easily one of the wildest overperformances we’ve ever seen, given the district’s deep, deep blue lean.
Couple of special elections in very blue districts in the Twin Cities area tonight, though only one is contested. It's a +71 Harris seat, so hard for Democrats to overperform when the margins are already so lopsided, but we'll see.

It will surprise almost no one that the overwhelming majority of 8th circuit judges are republican appointees, including a bunch from Trump's 1st term. Utterly corrupted.
BREAKING: Minnesota plaintiffs ask federal appeals court to allow protections for those exercising constitutional rights following today's ICE killing of Alex Pretti.

They ask the 8th Circuit to lift the admin stay issued in the First/Fourth Amend case.

I know I'm just a poor, simple scholar, but it seems to me that there shouldn't be any sort of way congress or the president should be able to pass a law that just ignores the 5th amendment -- the one where people can't be deprived of LIFE, liberty, or property, without due process of law.
