This is your brain on Ritalin. Got your attention? Stimulant medications like Ritalin (methylphenidate) do, but not in the way you might think. They don't act directly on the brain’s attention systems! Find out what's really happening in @cellpress.bsky.social. doi.org/10.1016/j.ce...

Very shortly NBDC users for #ABCD and #HBCD data can have officials sign off on a DUC for safe sandbox only. They won’t have to attest to their own systems having the security requirements which will help!
Curious if anyone has gotten a DUC for the sandbox approved by your university’s signing officials? We could definitely use some guidance :)
Hello all of you #ABCD and #HBCD data users!

Did you know we recently deployed the NBDC Sandbox?

Jupyter, R-Studio, or open your own linux environment.

Compute in place, No Download. A 'SAFE' Cluster environment.

Go check it out!

What an amazing feat! We did it!

It’s absolutely amazing how much older the babies look, the better our methods get 🤣😂

🚨 New preprint on the first infant 7T MRI project in North America! www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
We showcase that by leveraging 7T for infants, we can improve data quality and thereby facilitate precision functional mapping in early development.

super cool (& inspiring)! Finally read this and was wondering, for chronic stimulation (beyond initial 3-day electrode mappings), were all 4 electrode panels stimulated simultaneously? or were they isolated and that could vary with optimization? (didn't catch in paper, curious about PFC specificity)

FYI all. Anyone having issues with downloading our preprints I believe can still get to them when logged in. We also have some alternative links. Please reach out if you are having any issues.
Due to a recent influx of problematic submissions, PsyArXiv has switched to pre-moderating its content. If your submitted preprint had not yet been approved, it will be temporarily inaccessible to the public (you can still view your preprint when logged into your OSF account). #PsychSciSky

A truly spectacular demonstration of the medical potential of precision mapping an individual patient's brain. I am so excited to be part of this work!
I still get chills
