Mine are gardening and doing short wooded hikes with a gf.
Iβve gardened one season with a broken leg, (my husband put in 2 raised garden beds that spring) so I know I can do that.
The hiking? Lol, not so much!
I do paint and should pick up a craft if this continues (I likely need surgery).

I injured my knee skiing 10 days ago and am hobbling around in crutches. Not the same as chronic pain as I hope there is an eventual surgical resolution but I have empathy for you being laid up.
Outdoors is great. Iβm still at the ski hill so way too cold for me to get fresh air.
