Oi Outlook! When I search for something, I'd love it love it love it forever if you actually showed something related to what I searched for. Because currently I search for something and your response is, "hey check it out, I found a heap of emails! You sure send a lot of emails pal. Good job."

Currently reading through Obelix and Co with my son and to my unexpected delight it’s an incredible takedown of capitalism and the modern way of life. It should be on the school curriculum.

Finally, I can break silence! I did a lot of creature design work for this show (collaborating, of course, with the production team) and think the animals are looking pretty good here! This was a lot of fun to work on - will be watching on Mar. 6!

Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

Feel it’s very important to say a big thanks to the NHS and specifically Warrington Hospital.
Have been suffering mega gallbladder pain for a while, got admitted at the start of last week, had gallbladder removed by end of week. Great care and great outcome.
Legends, thank you.

Also every MS Teams call. I’ve been competently using computers since the 90s, but Teams is made with liquid sadism.

Magnolias are the oldest flowering plants, dating back to the dinosaurs. Bees didn't exist then, so they're pollinated by beetles. SF's Botanical Garden has one of the best magnolia collections in the world. They have started blooming now, peaking next month. Go visit:

Been trialing Qobuz for music and it’s really good. It’s based in France too, and those guys are pretty great overall.

Here's another photo of a two-spotted octopus. He's waving a couple arms in the lower part, trying to distract me, and getting ready to jet away to the right. Which is what happened next.

Octopi really hate being the center of attention.
