I spent 12 hours in ER with my mom last week. All the staff were amazing even while it was clear they were understaffed & overcrowded. We were fortunate given the stories I hear everyday & what I witnessed that day.

The fundamental problem with ER wait times is not the person who can wait home with their sore throat but the admitted patient who can’t get a bed for 36 hours
i would love to hear your personal thoughts on this, Dr Drummond.

Is this a thing that can work? Or is it a way to obscure excessive wait times?
