Every day, maybe every hour, somebody somewhere in Minnesota asks "Wait how is that legal?" and then it is explained to them that we are so far beyond that being a relevant question.

As I was being tailgated down W. River Parkway by a large SUV with tinted windows, the thought occurred to me that it might help if everyone drives a bit slower. Gives observers more time to identify feds.

We have a 20 MPH speed limit on residential streets, let’s weaponize it

I had the same issue when asking specifically for middle school accessible/interest books. I have students that don't read well, so books we read (as advanced readers at that age) don't work for these kiddos.

Ok hive mind, any ideas of what this is? This little inchworm was on my sweatshirt. It used silk to drop when I tried to remove it. I was about 8ft from my vegetable and flower garden.

The deciding factor for me would be how much time I plan to spend in my room. Just sleeping? No problem. I will get claustrophobic if I'm in there a lot though, and would really want the window..

When Stanford IT staff and a pro-diversity group shared a list of words they encouraged others not to use, it was national news, despite the fact it never represented campus policy.
When the government erases any mention, data or research related to words, will it be treated as a free speech issue?

I’m just going to say that AOC is the acting leader of the Democratic Party until someone proves otherwise. At least insofar as she is responding to the moment with leadership.

My most recent (and semi-polished) iteration on this stuff was a 5-minute lightning talk for NormConf 2022. Here's the video & the slides:
