Generally, I try to keep the jobs I play to the characters. As a result, I'm very particular about the jobs I assign to characters, since there's no reason to force myself to play a job I don't enjoy.
#wolqotd Is your WOL's job the same one you like to play, or do you separate what you play from your character's canon?

Generally, I try to keep the jobs I play to the characters. As a result, I'm very particular about the jobs I assign to characters, since there's no reason to force myself to play a job I don't enjoy.

Due to a flaw in the spell that sent the survivors to safety and Holdari to the Lifestream, "the Warriors of Light" were erased from all living memory — an important stipulation, since those who didn't primarily see Juksie as a Warrior of Light (Minfilia, Cid, Estinien, the Emdis, etc) remembered

#wolqotd In the canon, the original Warriors of Light were possibly lost at Carteneau and were somehow entirely forgotten about by the realm. How does this play out in your own canon? Is your WoL the same as before? Does a new one take on their mantle? What power caused this mass forgetfulness?

Genuinely, the best way to make an OC that other people will care about is to make one that YOU care about. Your creativity and enthusiasm will always shine through the most when you chase what inspires and excites you.
It takes time to find your audience! But you'll enjoy the process on the way.

"How to make ACTUAL interesting OCs" "How to make OCs people will care about!" dog if you can't love your own creations that's where you need to start, don't make brand new beings for other's approval. You'll never truly love them if they're tied to a stranger's perception.
