My birthday was this weekend and one of my coworkers gave me the coolest possible present. It’s a bison vertebrae that perfectly fits taper candles (the vertebrae is from a bison that either died of natural causes or a predator). I had to share cause I’m excited about it I can’t wait to display it 😍

We know of 42 intersex variations. There could be a lot more, and yes some happen less than others, like XX/XY chimerism with ovotestes, but about 1/2000 births will have an intersex variation.

With TT going dark again I’m gonna try and be more active on here, just had more life crap dumped on me so I haven’t really been active on TT either for a couple weeks. Stay tuned, hopefully I can get back to regular posting like I used to

Remember: intersex and trans rights have always been interwoven. The fight may look different on the outside, but at its core it’s a fight against a patriarchy with a strict male-female binary rooted in biblical beliefs that doesn’t apply the bio-science behind being trans or intersex. Intersex and trans people have always existed. The earliest known records of trans people are trans women priestesses, notably Enheduanna who was the High Priestess of Ishtar in Ur. Many cultures had intersex deities to represent their intersex peoples. And this doesn’t even touch the history lost.

There was a recent finding of the earliest known Turners and Jacob’s intersex persons. They are still investigating but this is super cool!

Intersex is the chromosomal, reproductive system, hormonal, or any mix of those, differences outside of what is seen as typical for XX female and XY male. Remember, sex is not a binary, but a spectrum. We exist, we have always and will always exist. Stay safe my dragonlings! ❤️
