IMO this is one of things that'd be sorted if we already had pro/rel pyramid-wide.

USL's new first division league to launch in 2028 will be called USL Premier. (Naturally.) Completes pyramid with Championship and League One.
Plan is to grow to 20 teams in USL Premier and 20 in the USL Championship.
