As we watch the Turkish election cycle and see rivals to autocratic power go to jail, I think we had better start planning for how we intend to keep our own candidates safe and out of prison on some Trumped-up charges. (Fascinating, how even his name is a byword for fraudulent.)

My beef with the MSM is that they are so thoroughly committed to the illusion of the status quo that they will keep playing the same tunes as the house burns down around them. The varnish is bubbling, and the bridge is smoking--they see nothing but business as usual. Irresponsible and dangerous.
