Just catching up on the department of gov efficiency announcement from over the pond. So, like Twitter, did the US election just become a massive crypto booster scam?

Had a very rare date night (thanks to sisters-in-law for babysitting), and went to see Jon Ronson’s live show. It was such a good update on the book. It still outlined the book’s message for those who hadn’t read it, but connected it to some more recent events/characters - Musk, Boris, Trump etc.

Day 4 since deleting Twitter and going all-in on here: still amazed at how quick you can read through your timeline when it’s not 50% drop-shipping ads or crypto scams.

On holiday for a week, so it’s a good time to delete the Twitter app and run a little experiment on the detox effect.

This coinciding with the Oasis announcement is probably correlation rather than causation…

Twitter is definitely making me extra-sensitive to the ongoing enshittification of many digital platforms, but FFS logging in to Evernote via the browser is just a brick wall these days.

Just heard the very sad news about #tonyhusband. I've enjoyed his cartoons ever since I was about 8yrs old reading Oink! magazine.
