I've decided that the funniest piece of information to come out of the reveal is the Toei producer saying that these girls will do an unprecedented amount of thinking for Precure. Which yeah, detectives, but it sounds like hilarious slander on 22 years' worth of magical girls

✔️ Fun premise, unexpected wrinkle to it with the slight timeskip angle on top of the detective motif
✔️ Yano's designs are adorable. Their kinda nostalgic feel doesn't quite overlap with the era they go back to (early 10s-ish stylizations vs 1999 timeslip) but who cares. Good!
