The idea that she’s problematic or even ‘controversial’ hasn’t really broken through, so the not-very-online people they encounter just get excited at the mention of a Harry Potter project rather than pulling a face, and agents etc assure them that 99% of people are fine with it

Longwinded previous post aside, I went to only my 2nd estate sale & somehow walked away w/ some cool stuff even after vultures swarmed the place an hour before I got there(now I know in the future if I do go to one, it's best to actually get there off the bat before resellers scoop everything).

One thing I've come to the realization of as a semi-conscious collector is that if asked to get rid of 99% of their collection for the betterment of everyone, they wouldn't do it.
Soon as you realize that, you know not to envy collectors that have so much cuz they are nothing without it.

I often think about the special hell fan community YouTube outrage grifters have created for themselves.
I genuinely believe most of them got into it because they like things. But eventually discovered their income is directly tied to hating everything and now they're stuck.

A few places I know now not to waste gas on are Ollie's, Burlington, & Ross. Some areas in different parts of the country getting some nice stuff but over here they've been barren. Haven't found anything good in over a month and most of what you'll find is TMNT stuff.
