'Our time is on loan, only us to borrow
An' I know
But I can't be today, I can be tomorrow
Yea, all I see, the more I know
The more I know, the less I understand'
Ask for me tomorrow, and you'll find me a grave man.

No one owns A Cat.
A Cat might condescend to live with you, albeit on Their Own Terms & provided there is adequate food of tolerable quality & sufficient warm comfortable sleeping arrangements, but make no mistake, A Cat is not owned.
Sometimes companionable, often worshiped always their own Cat.

No fan of Starmer and I think he made a huge mistake employing Mandy

But BBC seemed far more muted when Johnson appointed Pincher, a man accused of sexual assault as a Tory whip.

19% of UK population is over 65.
42% of NHS spending is on over 65s. 87% of patients are white.
12% of UK budget is on pensions/pension benefits. (55% the welfare state spending).
Schools are 4%. Asylum seekers is about 0.25%
But yeah it is immigrants that are the problem not the aging population.

The shadow of my sorrow! Ha, let’s see.
’Tis very true, my grief lies all within,
And these external manners of laments
Are merely shadows to the unseen grief
That swells with silence in the tortur’d soul.

It was 2006, I had just discovered that Political Science has very little to do with turning into Josh Lyman, and my priorities were firmly in World of Warcraft's Azeroth.

Do not be like me, kids.

Apparently the best way to get people who vote right wing to not is engage with their worries and issues.
Not to shame them for voting for lying racists, or to show that the lying racists do not care about the voters or that the lying racists solutions are overly simplified & nonsense.

You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.
