This is such a random gripe but I REALLY wish folks would stop using phrases like "selective pressure" and "natural selection" when discussing evolution.
It makes it seem like there's a force named Selection just roaming this Earth picking winners and killing off the ones who don't pass its tests.

Our awful political system may have a pro-idiot bias, but their weakness is that they are still idiots.
It’s common and sort of understandable to see Miller as this evil genius. Important to remember he’s actually a complete fucking moron who, when he got a chance, immediately engineered a PR disaster that shitcanned Trump’s best-polling issue. Always the way with these types.

Moderate Dems are just never going to get on board with abolish ICE, especially after abolish-coded rhetoric in 2020 mostly failed, and given their consistent conservatism on immigration enforcement. So might as well as at least try to figure out what other pathways are out there.
