So is this KFC UK Stranger Things Burger Meal just a scam? I’ve been to KFC multiple times in the last two weeks and it’s never there

my take on community notes is that they are just another popularity contest, not sure that's a great way to arrive at the truth most of the time

Ahh yes, thank you UK government for this gift that keeps on giving

(This is Levels.fyi's annual report which appears to use imgur who decided to block the UK because of the Online Safety Act)

Getting increasingly tempted to switch to Vivaldi

Watching the original Linkin Park: From Zero livestream again and wondering what happened that their Wembley concert just didn't hit as well

I was there and it was probably one of the worst concerts I've ever been to, I guess stadiums just suck for concerts

Just spent £6.50 on some pretty poor Dutch pancakes prepared by a British teenager

Were Christmas Markets ever good?

It's funny, this is very similar to how @onlyhumanhub.com implements humanity verification: cryptographic hashing.
v1.112 is live!

We’re launching Find Friends, a contact import feature that helps you find people you know on Bluesky.

Try it! In the mobile app, go to Settings → Find friends from contacts.

WASI Hello World in Rust is 47kb 😔

AssemblyScript is 9kb and that's without trying anything fancy

Brutal (but fair) Guardian headline today

Only 3% of respondents to the UK government’s consultation on AI & copyright supported their unfair plan to hand AI companies people’s work for free.

95% said AI companies should license training data.

So I bought a Samsung Galaxy A16 5G for £131 from Ebay. Brand new phone that's seemingly pretty good value and comes with 6 years of OS updates
So I've got a project that requires an Android phone, what's the cheapest, most modern, used Android phone I should get?

Another discontinued service by Google, what a shame.

I'm making some progress, but getting AssemblyScript to work within 1 WASM page of memory (64kb) is already proving challenging.

But hey, we need a lot more software written with these extreme memory constraints. Easy things are never fun.
Trying to build something with WebAssembly and feeling pretty sad about the whole WASI situation

AssemblyScript seems really cool, but jumping through hoops to use WASI with it is sad
