I am Emperor Comatose, kneel before me.
This owl would like you to know that even though it is cooler and more wise than you can ever hope to be, it will still be you friend. At least I hope it wanted to be my friend.

This minion variant of a griffon is easily the best Halloween decoration I saw this evening.

A few more pictures from our safari tour at www.thewilds.org last weekend. I really should have remembered to bring my DSLR, camera phone lenses can only work so hard.

I played bobbin roulette and won. The stakes were low as I was just making sure my cotton lawn doesn't become cotton thread in the wash, but I'll take any sewing win I get.

I found my first spotted lanternfly nymph of the year in my garden today. The rage with which it was squished would probably be considered disproportionate relative to its size, but was fully warranted.

I love this unhinged cowboy opossum cross-stitch pattern from @ansitru.bsky.social with every fiber of my being. It speaks to my soul.

My patch of Lily of the Valley smells amazing every time I walk by; they get bonus points for having been my grandmother's favorite flower. 🌱

Looks like my house came with a cistern...always wondered what was underneath the random square of concrete. Hopefully I can utilize it for the garden, I'm just happy to be rid of the grassy patch of weeds between the garden an my house that was horrible to deal with. Time to weed barrier/ gravel.

The combination of shoveling 6 tons of gravel this afternoon and working on a cross-stitch pattern the last couple days has fucked my back in ways I didn't know was possible. I should really make more of an effort to not be in shrimp-mode while crafting.

I channeled my feminine rage into illustrating our worthless senators @fetterman.senate.gov and McCormick as Pittsburgh's (least) favorite invasive species: the spotted lanternfly.

I almost feel bad disparaging those little agriculture-destroying menaces with these feckless bastards.

After my weeks-long attempt to battle the weeds in my garden, I'm confident dandelions will give cockroaches a run for their money in an apocalypse survival situation.

We are all that there will be.

We are, as they say, the ones we’re waiting for."
Today—right now, right here—is the easiest line to draw against Donald Trump. Every day, it will get harder—the politics more inevitable, the destruction more irreversible, the sheer waste more costly, the downstream impacts on American life more catastrophic. www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/today-righ...
