When trump was first elected, I thought the only unrecoverable issue would be progress on climate change. I was wrong. Democracy and Truth were also huge backslides which may never be reversed. Here are people working on Truth. www.euronews.com/green/2025/1...
Countries commit to tackling climate disinformation at COP30
It is the first time states have formally committed to information integrity and fighting back against climate disinformation.

How many times have I heard the climate denier argument that it doesn't matter what we do, because China?
China’s CO2 emissions have now been flat or falling for 18 months, starting in March 2024.

This trend continued in the third quarter of 2025, when emissions were unchanged year-on-year.

If this trend starts to move into sustained carbon emissions reduction it would be hugely significant.

Interesting theory. Trump was impeached for his insurrection. He pardoned his coconspirators. There is at least an argument that those pardons are a Constitutional violation. In any case, abuse of the pardon power is undoubtedly impeachable in and of itself.

This opens the door for Jack Smith to challenge Trump’s INVALID PARDON

Present the case of Insurrection in the
Supreme Court.

He cannot pardon his co-conspirators or himself.

Lil bobbie was brought on to win the antivaxxers. It was easy to predict that anything he advocated that actually affects republican donors would be a non-starter.

The good news is that we are bending the curve down, and renewables are now cheaper than fossil fuels. The bad news is that we are not doing it nearly as fast as we need to. Paris was supposed to be a baseline for us to improve from, but it's really been a ceiling. apnews.com/article/clim...
Landmark Paris Agreement set a path to slow warming. The world hasn't stayed on it
The world has seen faster climate change than expected since the Paris Agreement a decade ago. Scientists say Earth's warming has outpaced efforts to reduce fossil fuel pollution that came out of the ...

The good news is that when he's napping he can't do more damage to this country. The bad news is that when he's napping his handlers can impose more evil on all of us with even less control.
Folks this is not a candid shot of the man at 11PM on a weekend, this is what he was doing while sitting in the middle of an internationally broadcast major press conference in the Oval Office

He is cooked, get him out of there ASAP—before we find ourselves in the midst of a second Great Depression

The admin is lying. 7 CFR 278.2(b) doesn't prevent stores from offering discounts to people paying cash who may at other times use SNAP. It only specifies that a different price can't be offered **when the customer is using SNAP benefits**.
The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

Piedra Falls, about an hour form Pagosa Springs, with the river running quite high. Hard to do these falls justice in a photo. I knew if we could scramble down to the bottom we could find a nice rainbow.
October 19, 2025 at 8:18 PM
Recent heavy rains from the remnants of Tropical Storms Priscilla and Raymond have filled reservoirs in SW Colorado and temporarily raised streams and rivers above flood level. Here's the Piedra River, normally low this time of year, running quite high, seen on our hike to Piedra Falls.

Figured it would be too late to see the changing aspens, but they were in plenty glory on our hike to Piedra Falls, about 8300 ft elevation.
