He obviously hasn't stopped thinking about it for years. Enigmas never age, and every day is another wonderful secret.

I don't know about any other people, but both JP Morgan and Chase had been dead for decades before Epstein was even born. The chances that either knew anything about Epstein's crimes are pretty low. Unless, of course, they were reading Nostradamus, who definitely predicted Epstein.

Ha! Have you ever convinced anybody of anything by being that rude? Here's an example. CA: 44% of electricity from natural gas, 25% from solar/wind, 20% from other renewables (hydro, geothermal, biomass), 8% from nuclear. Doesn't include rooftop solar.

Take a deep breath and count to 10. Nobody has suggested covering the planet in steel and silicone. Nobody on this thread has said nuclear isn't part of the solution (although many are of that mind.) Right now, wind and solar plus storage are the cheapest ways to add electricity generation.

You did. Not explicitly, but if you don't have "climate action", you are increasing our reliance on fossil fuels. Extracting and burning fossil fuels is orders of magnitude more damaging than any current climate action.

There's always a place to move heat. Earth is surrounded by near vacuum. Radiated heat goes into space. The problem with the "greenhouse" effect is that more and more of that energy being emitted into space is actually being "reflected" by greenhouse gases and being sent back to earth.

Some suggest that about 70,000 years ago human population dwindled into the few thousands. "Existential" is relative.

Remember Elon's dream -- we're gonna be on Mars, so it doesn't matter what we do to Earth. Of course, no matter how far climate change goes, it will never be as unlivable here as it is on Mars, so perhaps it's the ketamine talking.

Closer to 1.5 C or almost 3 F. Yes, it's a big deal, and lots of people have proven it. Yes, climate action creates less damage than the alternative. If you were really worried about excessive mining, wiping out deserts and forests, killing wildlife, you wouldn't support fossil fuel extraction.

What if the dog has an earbud and these people are actually having phone conversations with their dogs? Ever think of that? (On an unrelated note, I just had an idea for a brilliant new product -- doggy phone!)

Ok, so now the House gets to vote on the Epstein Transparency Act. Still, nobody is even talking about how the Senate will also have to vote, and it's very likely Thune won't bring it to a vote. Even if it passes both the House and the Senate, the president has to sign it. What are the odds of that?

What, you mean Maxwell lied to Blanche?
November 12, 2025 at 11:26 PM
Oh, and even in the unlikely event that both the House and Senate pass it and miraculously override a presidential veto, we know that trump and bondi will just ignore it anyway.
