Is it just me, or does anyone else feel that the Israeli aggression against Gazans looks very much like the Nazi aggression against Jews, Romanies and Communists? No actual gassing of course, but the killing, starvation and dehumanisation is very similar

"Why is Trump so one-sided?".
Because the Russian kleptocrats saved his ass when no other financial institution was prepared to lend him money in the 1990s.
He owes them bigtime.

Trump’s approval rating is -13 already. Worse than Biden at this stage in his Presidency, much worse than Obama ditto. www.economist.com/interactive/...

Trump and Farage are in a global minority of 11% with their Net Zero scepticism. We who want to end fossil fuel addiction are a majority of 89%, but do not realise how strong we are www.theguardian.com/environment/...

Atmospheric CO2 has passed 430 parts per million.

The last time atmospheric CO2 was at 430 ppm was during the ancient Pliocene Era, three to five million years ago, and humans didn’t exist.

Study shows political misinformation on social media is disproportionately linked to radical-right populist parties www.psypost.org/political-li...
Political lies have a pattern — and radical-right populist parties are leading the charge
Analyzing millions of tweets, researchers found that misinformation is strongly linked to radical-right populist parties—not populism in general or partisan politics alone.

So it seems that the shooter at Florida State University was a far-right white supremacist.
Student who ran a political debate club at FSU shares that the shooter was kicked out of the club because of his far right rhetoric and white supremacist views.

This is not an unreasonable request and would go some way to making the Middle East a safer place.
April 13, 2025 at 2:55 AM
If true, this is so important.

A nuclear free Middle East would be a great step towards a nuclear free world.

We should reach out to Iran on this, respond positively.

Peace is possible. Global Zero is possible.
Iran just flipped the table on America and Israel and called for a nuclear-free Middle East and FULL DENUCLEARISATION of Israel.
But Israel is the one country who:
•Never signed the Non-Proliferation Treaty
•Never acknowledged its arsenal
•And yet holds an estimated 80 to 400 nuclear warheads
April 13, 2025 at 5:57 PM
If you're ever curious as to why nations like Iran, Egypt, or Jordan don't just overrun Israel to free Palestine, look no further than the Samson Option, which is Israel's nuclear deterrence policy in the event they are ever invaded. They have full first and second-strike capability.

“Money is God and privatisation is Money’s Prophet” was the belief

British Steel and Thames Water both demonstrate that privatisation of strategic national industries is absolutely wrong.
