Yeah, if you’re growing up in LA and you’re not Latino, it’s pretty much impossible not to have a Latino best friend or partner at some point.

Finished up Gothic 3, which leaves me with that kind of empty feeling that comes after finishing a big open world style game. Fun series though, jank as all hell, but kind of gave me that same pleasant feeling as Morrowind & Oblivion.

Installed and opened Daggerfall and played it for one minute before realizing how jank the keyboard layout was, and recognizing that I'd have to change a ton to map motion to the WASD keys lol. I closed it because I wasn't in the mood for all of that. Looks charming though.

Managed to get a lot of packing done. I ended up with a lot of new inventory, including a wicker basket full of Monchichi dolls a family friend gifted me to sell (her daughters have kids but none seemed interested). Hopefully TSA/airline treats it all gently, I did my best to package safely.

The mystery is solved by the way! The suit was made by Walerian Borowczyk hinself, with moulding help from Alain Guille, who mostly worked in special effects (and credited as set decorator on La Bete)
Apparently Borowczyk regularly made the props in his films too, and didnt like outsourcing work!

I need help to help solve a pervy monster effects mystery.
Walerian Borowczyk's La Bete (1975) is infamous for a scene of a monster fucking a woman. Yet this film, nor Immortal Tales (1973) (where the footage originally was from) do not have any effects artists credits?
So, who made the suit?

The other three images are of an early iteration of the Shern costumes - the final costumes had a slightly more abstract look.
