Fujitsu swore it wouldn’t bid for public contracts until the Horizon scandal inquiry wrapped up. And yet a new £300k MoD deal just landed in its lap. Their “no-bid” pledge is looking more like a PR stunt riddled with loopholes.

Simon Jack on Today commented that Octopus giving out electric blankets to help the hard up this winter was tokenism. He obviously doesn’t need to sit with a hot water bottle and blanket on his knee when it’s cold, as many elderly people do.
