Really time to step up and advocate for the importance of our role.
University leaders need to understand: they are holding INCREDIBLY good cards.

It is so rare in today's polarized era to have the support of 70+ percent of the public against the Trump admiministration on anything. Universities have that—AND winning legal arguments.

I’ve been pleased to see universities opposing the administration’s destructive and coercive agenda, but it has me wondering what their threat points are. It doesn’t seem obvious to me that there are any. Faculty could strike undergrad classes, but I don’t see university admin supporting that
