It is not about Kimmel or what he said. It is about the US government forcing a network to fire someone - no government should have that power. If the network decided this on their own, that’s one thing. But in this case they absolutely did not.

it won't let me reply so I'll quote/post to ask a genuine question: what bands do you feel were influenced by U2? I guess Coldplay is the biggie - but I often scratch my head at whether they shaped many future musicians. it's not a knock on them at all... to your point, they have a helluva catalog.
Hm unfortunately I have read the replies and siding with wife. U2 has way more good songs and were a much more influential band as opposed to a band that is a collection of their influences, and I say that as someone who likes Oasis
