We're at the end of the year and looking back on New Years resolutions, I haven't really done much other than finish the Trails into Cold Steel series and Trails into Reverie. I have kinda started a new video idea script in addition to one I've started in 2023, but that's really it.

Damn, I can't believe it's been 26 years (Well, 25 for the NA release). It's been a bit since my last playthough but I think it's about time I take a journey to 1986 Dobuita again. I'm still wishing that Shenmue IV may happen in the future.
Shenmue is officially 26 years old today...
Not many games hit a nostalgic spot for me quite like Shenmue does.
I remember how much it floored me when it came out on SEGA Dreamcast when I was just 16 years old. I knew video games would never be the same.

Found out the Mega Man Star Force Collection is up for pre-order. Star Force is the only Mega Man series I have not played any game from so I'm looking forward to see how they are. My understanding is that it's a faster pace version of Battle Network.

As much as I'm extremely worried about the future of physical media, my gut reaction is "could have been worse" and I don't feel too comfortable with that.
Netflix confirms it will acquire Warner Bros., including its film and television studios, HBO Max and HBO, for about $82.7 billion, after separation of Discovery Global (which is expected to be completed in Q3 2026).

Not going to lie, this is the biggest news for me today over everything else announced. One of my top wanted fan translations is nearly complete. I honestly can't believe we're going to see this game finally translated. Super stoked!

I was kind of expecting this being next after they announced the Xilla 1 remaster but in all honesty, this is still a relatively recent entry and I'm way more interested in a Abyss/Rebirth/Legendia remaster. Hell, actually, remaster of Destiny/Eternia would be amazing!

I like the idea of the Intellivision Sprint. Price may be slightly high but I feel like the people it is aiming for may put down the money for it. But two things really stick out to me: Cloudy Mountain is not included and the bigger one: No cartridge slot. Maybe both can be in a future rendition?
