Remember that your words, choices, actions matter. Blowing out somone else's candle won't make yours shine any brighter. Hold on to the hope, kindness, and love that is still in your heart. Use it and be fierce with it. Also, don't mistake kindness for weakness ✌️
Just gonna leave this here.

"I will also sign an executive order to immediately stop all government censorship and bring back free speech to America. Never again will the immense power of the state be weaponized to persecute political opponents." - Donald Trump, January 2025

The Diddy verdict hurts. “Not guilty” does not mean “innocent.” Courts don’t even use that word. But the public will and victims will hear the wrong message. I’m heartbroken for Cassie. For all of them. For what this verdict means. When people ask why women don't come forward, this is why.

"It's hypocrisy to call yourself a Christian and chase away a refugee or someone seeking help, someone who is hungry or thirsty, toss out someone who is in need of my help. If I say I am Christian, but do these things, I'm a hypocrite." - Pope Francis

If you're an attorney, you cannot file anything with the court that you know isn't true. Doing so could cost you your law license. Can you guess the one place the Trump admin isn't calling Abrego Garcia a criminal or gang member?

Their court filings. Interesting isn't it?

"Who could have predicted this?" say the people who spent the past year dismissing or mocking those who predicted this.

He posted “This is a great time to buy” MINUTES after the stock market opened. Just hours later, he pauses tariffs for 90 days and the market SKYROCKETS. You mean to tell me this isn’t blatant market manipulation?! This isn’t insider trading? This isn’t even shady, it's corruption in broad daylight.

This recession is not going to be like 2008. It's going to be worse for one reason.

In 2008, the government actually tried to stop it.

The “we need to suffer through a recession before things get better” crowd are the same people who lost their shit over a wearing a mask so they didn't kill someone's grandmother.

That Venn diagram? One dumbass circle.

What Senator Booker is doing is *not* a filibuster. A filibuster is a speech meant to halt the advance of a specific piece of legislation. Senator Booker is making a call to action meant to hold up any business scheduled to take place in the Senate.

AS. HE. SHOULD. But it's not a filibuster.

Disruption is all they seem to understand—so that’s exactly what they’re getting. For 14 hours, @booker.senate.gov has been on the Senate floor, speaking truth within the rules. This cannot be business as usual when our democracy’s on the line. Thank you, senator.

No one will ever be able to say "I didn't know." You knew. You voted for it. But the good news is you're allowed to say, at any point, "I can't support this". Even if you did. You can say "This has gone too far". And while the best time to say that was earlier, the second best time is now.

Between 2019 and 2022, the maternal mortality rate in Texas increased by 56% after the state outlawed abortions.

Someone explain to me how anti-abortion laws are "pro-life". Explain it to me like I'm 5 years old.
