This is important! We study history (in part) because it helps us understand how the apparently “natural” or eternal was brought into existence. Once we see that X was created by people at a certain time and place for a certain reason, then we can imagine re-making, rejecting, or abolishing it.

I love being in relationships but it's so easy for me to get lost in them. I'm learning that I need periods of time away to be with myself and explore all the parts that go quiet when other people are around
