No idea who Laurent Brindeau is, but isn’t this caricature of @zackpolanski.bsky.social in today’s @dailymailpolitics.bsky.social ragingly antisemitic?

These dangerous people keep essentially telling on themselves that they view their children as their property, obligated to stay around them no matter what they do or say, no matter if they’re abusive or not

This is exactly how my narcissistic dad acted, I was his property basically

Rachel Reeves shouting at a disabled Labour MP and saying she didn't understand the policy to cut disability benefits. This is what Labour was trying to do. Paint all of us disabled people as hoodwinked and stupid. No. They were disgusting, vile cuts.

Like it's a new form of climate change denialism to me to be like "yes climate change is an issue but we shouldn't actually do anything remotely impactful to challenge it"
December 26, 2025 at 4:22 PM
The thing that gets me about climate change is that so many people are like "no, not now, we can't because of the economy, or because people don't want to"

I just know the same people in 20 years will be like "WHY DIDN'T ANYONE WARN US?" We did!

A wonderful friend and their family had me for Christmas and that was so appreciated but like...it's still such a sad time of year for me, seeing people enjoy their families and their parents and I just...can't. So many sad memories :(

My dad is and was an abusive narc, who ruined my life (thankfully I've had great friends, partners and a lot of therapy since then).

I've been no contact since 2018 with him and it was the best decision I've ever made. Fully agree. Family can be so toxic and dangerous in many cases.
Yeah, no thanks.

Stop guilting people about being estranged from family members. It someone is they likely have personal reasons for being so.

Yes. We're spending £476m on the militarisation of Calais - where babies are being tear gassed.

The fact people are hearing this for the first time is exactly why I made it the subject of the Christmas Day message.

We could be spending that money instead on a fair and managed migration system.
The UK government is spending £476m tear-gassing babies?

Someone needs to get real if they're to be taken seriously.
The Telegraph highlighting - yet missing - two vital points here.

1) We're not calling for £476m to be spent. It already is - this is about diverting it to actually helping.

2) Why "cruelty" in question? The £476m we're spending is part of an operation tear gassing babies.

From what I've seen, Levy is just a bit...nothing? Like it won't really fix anything for trans people but it's also not terrible? It's sad that's kinda seen as a "win" though considering the current context...

We’re still digesting the report in full, and will be discussing its findings with trans-led organisations.

Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).
