Bluesky friends, I’m Cait! I’m a pro musician & visual artist who spends as much time as possible playing with ponies. this is my crew of r+ based critters, and if you know me, you know i literally do not ever shut up about them. this my house, entry please!
Andy also celebrated her one month anniversary at her barn by getting kicked out. it’s a super small, private facility where all three horses live out together 24/7 with no way to separate, and she can’t get along with the resident gelding. she reunites w Solstice in Ohio in five days! Slay queen😵💫🫣🤩

andy celebrated moving back to Chicago with a choke episode and luxury vet visit (all expenses paid). net win, according to her, because she didn’t die AND she got a lot of love from the all woman vet team who took care of her. slay queen.

the good news is that S’s teeth are fine, but the next step is an ultrasound to check for a granulosa cell tumor. our new vet thinks this is a pretty good possibility while the last vet thought it was unlikely. if it is, it would definitely mean the end of her behavioral issues🤞

just paid the deposit for Andy’s first month of board back in chicago🥹 so excited to have my girl back, and this barn is so perfect. It’s a tiny private barn that only does 24/7 turnout, but it’s also full care and it’s not too far out of the city.

it’s so fun that the baby mustang, who, coincidentally, is the same age as the giant TB, is fifteen thousand times better for hoof care despite working on it far less frequently. and that’s on racetrack trauma being a bitch to overcome
