Andy also celebrated her one month anniversary at her barn by getting kicked out. it’s a super small, private facility where all three horses live out together 24/7 with no way to separate, and she can’t get along with the resident gelding. she reunites w Solstice in Ohio in five days! Slay queen😵‍💫🫣🤩

andy celebrated moving back to Chicago with a choke episode and luxury vet visit (all expenses paid). net win, according to her, because she didn’t die AND she got a lot of love from the all woman vet team who took care of her. slay queen.

it’s so fun that the baby mustang, who, coincidentally, is the same age as the giant TB, is fifteen thousand times better for hoof care despite working on it far less frequently. and that’s on racetrack trauma being a bitch to overcome

me vs surrounding myself with plants to keep the doom at bay
A white cube storage shelf has been converted into a plant shelf. Two of the cubes are filled with various types of plants in clear nursery pots. Each cube has a grow light attached to the top to provide light to the plants inside. The plants include Manjula, Pearls n Jade, Snow Queen, Glacier, and Golden pothos as well as a pink syngonium, a pink princess philodendron, and a couple milk confetti syngoniums. A few glass containers filled with water hold pothos cuttings.

many, many thoughts about XC day but for now, here’s a dog with a stick

well, well, well… if it isn’t the consequence of my own actions

The bay gelding has his head thrown up to avoid the chestnut mare, who has spun around with her mouth open to bite him back. my in laws took us to Disney a couple weeks ago and i may not have taken any photos of us on the trip, but i did take pics of all the animals🤭
