Last week I had zero interest in Heated Rivalry. D and I decided to binge watch it on Friday to see what the hype was about. NOW I AM OBSESSED AND CANNOT STOP THINKING ABOUT IT.

Successful birthday weekend included: a goat walk with the Philly Goat Project, seeing Hamnet (SO GOOD), and French onion soup. 48 is off to a good start!
November 30, 2025 at 11:18 PM
First two days of four-day weekend included: cranberry cheesecake and smoked pork shoulder, movies on the couch, the start of Christmas/winter decorating, and meeting up with friends in the good old “blueberry capital of the world” (lol, my hometown) for beer and divorce stories. More to come!

I'm in four-day (birthday) weekend mode already. See ya later bye!

@bussboy.bsky.social July 28, 2002: the Jimmy Eat World show at Electric Factory where it was so hot and packed that you threw up spaghetti into the trashcan!

Been listening to a lot of Jimmy Eat World this week and thinking about the T Swift connection/their influence on her. Fortnight's lyric "nobody noticed your new aesthetic" 🤝 "Your New Aesthetic" (a song that clearly seems to be about the industry/labels).

A couple weeks ago I transferred all my playlists from Spotify to Qobuz (liking it so far) so naturally I’ve been listening through some old ones. I think I’m gonna start burning mix CDs again.

Some of the best reporting on politics. This sucks. @treepaineburner.bsky.social did you see this?
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.
